Super Nice Pizza is looking for welcoming and organized Hosts to be the first point of contact for our guests. Our focus is on making sure our guests have an amazing time and you will be the first person, and often the last person, they interact with in an evening, and so we're looking for some great, personable, people to be part of the team. You should be able to quickly and calmly diffuse guest issues like: tables not being quite ready; guests wanting to sit at a different table than the one they're assigned to; guests needing to be added to a waitlist when they want to sit RIGHT NOW; etc. Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and manage reservations, walk-ins, and wait-list Coordinate seating plan for the evening and ensure smooth table turnover. Communicate to servers when tables have out-by times and/or when tables need to turn for following reservations Communicate guest and reservation notes to servers - usually in the form of printed chits Provide menu details and answer guest inquiries. Assist the bar or servers as needed. Maintain an eye on the bathrooms and floor to keep them in good order. Handle the phone. Qualifications: Previous experience hosting in a restaurant that takes reservations. Strong organizational and communication skills. Friendly and professional demeanor. Details: Pay: $16–$18/hour. Schedule: Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
